Players have the
right to challenge anyone up to 3 positions ahead of them. In the event that a
challenger drops to more than 3 positions away before the match is played
(because of another result). The challenge is still valid.

The challenged
player has 1 week to make himself available or
concedes his position by default.
·
Players can not
challenge the same person twice in two weeks.
·
Players are not
expected to accept more than one challenge a week. Players may only be involved
in one challenge at a time.
·
All matches best
of 3 games (except club tournament matches where best of 5 is applicable).
·
The ladder is the
sole mechanism for seeding in club tournament singles draws. It is used as a
guide in seeding the seeding process for doubles draws, and as a guide in the
pairing process for the A/B doubles draws (for which there are no seeds).
·
All club
tournament matches do count as ladder matches, regardless of relative positions
(This is the only way someone can move more than 3 positions with one result).
Friendly games do count as ladder matches, only if players are within 3
positions of each other.
·
‘Same day’
cancellations are treated as a lost match. If either player is more than 5
minutes late, the other player (first arrival) has the right to claim victory
and not play!
·
Ryan will put the
two players involved in a challenge in touch with each other, so they can best
figure out a suitable time to play. Any problems will be addressed by Ryan and
the Match and Handicap Director.
